Kartik Aaryan on his early struggles: He once shared a flat with twelve guys
Kartik Aaryan, a Bollywood sensation, recently shared his journey of overcoming challenges during his early days of auditioning in Mumbai. He mentioned that he resided in a shared apartment with 12 individuals.
In an episode of Kapil Sharma's Netflix series, Kartik, who plays Chandu Champion in "Kapil Sharma's Netflix Show," revealed, "At the start, I lived with 12 others in a small apartment. Each room could fit four people. Some of us dreamed of becoming writers or directors, but the majority aspired to be on the big screen. Initially, none of my roommates were aware of my ambition to become an actor. They believed I was in Mumbai for an internship. I had mentioned that I was interning in biotech at Kokilaben."
"Pyaar Ka Punchnama wasn't a major production back then, it was a low-budget film featuring new talent, and I encountered this when I had signed on for a role that didn't materialize. Additionally, I was hesitant to face ridicule for my 'Hero ban gaya tu' (You have become a hero) nickname. So, when 'Pyaar Ka Punchnama' was greenlit and the trailer was released, I showed it to my roommates for the first time. They were all thrilled to see one of us making it in the industry."
Kartik also discussed his initial fears and apprehensions about entering the film industry, coming from Gwalior and having never lived alone. His move to Mumbai was permanent, which made him anxious. Moreover, he was venturing into the industry for the first time, which added to his worries. His mother believed he was going to Mumbai for studies and to live in a hostel. The fear of not securing work and hearing negative stories about Bollywood further fueled his concerns.
Kartik's recent role in Kabir Khan's "Chandu Champion" has been receiving widespread acclaim.
